Dissatisfaction in the services provided by Expedia of the My Booking ID 13017908478 fr amer clark hotel jaipur –
I completed this itinary yesterday with a lot of dissatisfaction – completely due to extemely disappointing service provided by Expedia.. I had booked wifi, breakfast and double room for 2 nights (as mentioned in their website @ Rs. 6250/= per nite, my booking was confirmed and deductions made immediately from my credit card specifying that u do not need to reconfirm the booking from the hotel..
on reaching the hotel i was told there are no rooms available and they cannot confirm this booking.. immediately i called up expedia on their customer support numbers and after 3 disconnections and waiting for 20 mins each time was able to talk to one of them after 30 mins – some transfers of call with in the deptt and a disconection with no answer provided to me nor a call back – i also posted an email mentioning this ordeal – no revert from expedia till now.. hotel was courteous engh to give me a room after 1 hr of deliberation. but did not provide free wifi in room and no breakfast.
since i didnt have a choice had to agree as i was mercifully dependent on them with NO HELP FROM EXPEDIA WHO CHARGED THEIR FEES FOR PROVIDING ME THE BEST POSSIBLE OPTION WITH NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT..
I WANT TO LODGE A SERIOUS REPORT AND EXPECTED A CALL FROM EXPEDIA HOWEVER I DONT TRUST THEM ANYMORE AND AM GOING TO POST THIS ON ALL THE POSSIBLE WEBSITES AND SOCIAL MEDIA TO ENSURE NO ONE ELSE GOES THROUGH THIS ORDEAL.. I WAS TOLD BY THE HOTEL THAT THEY HAD SENT AN EMAIL TO ALL THE ONLINE SITES TO STOP SELLING HOWEVER THEY CONTINUED SALES AND HAVE PUT CUSTOMERS IN TI SUCH A SITUATION. I HAVE PAID 1100/= FOR BREAKFAST WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE. I SPECIFICALLY SELECTED AND PAID EXTRA @ RS 6250/= WHEN THE ROOM AT 5250/= WAS ALSO AVAILABLE WHICH WAS ROOM ONLY OPTION..
I EXPECT EXPEDIA TO COMPENSATE ME FOR THE ORDEAL I HAD TO GO THROUGH ALONG WITH A WRITTEN APOLOGY.
ON REPEATED REMINDERS TO EXPEDIA THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL ASKING ME TO SUBMIT THE BREAKFAST VOUCHER SO THAT THE SAME COULD BE COMPENSATED.. HOWEVER I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS AND NEED A HIGHER COMPENSATION.
