Complaint against Santosh Medicos, Sector 32D, Chandigarh

Dear Sir/Madam,

I, Naresh Anand, resident of E-26, Om Vihar, Phase 5, Near Nawada Metro Station, Uttam Nagar, Delhi – 110059 residing in UT Chandigarh. I want to lodge complaint against a medical store called Santosh Medicos, Booth No. 341, Sector 32D, Chandigarh. I am briefing here about the complaint as below:

Basically my wife (Kalpana Anand, Age 31) was suffering from severe pain therefore I consulted Dr. Rajeev Sarwal, MD (Medicine), DM (Gastroenterology) on March 15, 2014. Doctor suggested 3 medicines for 7-10 days. I went to buy all 3 medicines in Sector 33D which is very near to my home. They had only 2 medicines available on their stores, hence I bought 2 medicines from Sector 33D market and for rest one medicine (Matiz Plus Tab) I went Sector 32D in Santosh Medicos.

I showed doctor prescription to one of the attendant of Santosh Medicos (Sector 32D) and asked for Matiz Plus capsules of 30 capsules and immediately he took out 10 capsules (one patta) and given to owner of the medical shop for billing. The medical store owner asked me that whether you need other 2 medicines, I told him that I already purchased those 2 medicines from other stores and as Matiz Plus tablet was not available in that store that’s why I have come here for purchase. He took 15 seconds time and told me that this Matiz Plus tablet I can’t give you because you have taken other 2 medicines from other medical stores. I told him that I usually purchase medicines from your store too whenever I do not find that in Sector 33D market as I am residing in Sector 33. I also told that I have come in your store at least 5-10 times for purchase of medicines or other items in past 2 years. Despite of my several requests, he refused to give me that Matiz Plus medicine and he ignored me and doctor prescription too. After that I went to other medical store and bought Matiz Plus medicine and then came again at Santosh Medicos and told him that as you have not given me the medicine (though it was available in your store), I’ll lodge a complaint against you. He told me that go and do whatever you want and I do not care and scare with your complaint. You can’t do anything, I’ll handle the case.

I understand that medical store can’t deny for giving any medicines (if available in store) against doctor prescription. I think he (Santosh Medicos) does not have humanity and give preference his own profit only. Also, I would like to pay attention that Santosh medicos (sector 32D) do not cut the medical bills for every sales (only cut the bills on request) and thus he does not show his profit based on actual sales and hides his actual profit and pays much lesser income tax to the Government. I assume that the said storekeeper (Santosh Medicos) cut bills only 10-15% of total actual sales.

Therefore I would urge for lodging a complaint against him (Santosh Medicos) immediately and would urge for taking very concrete action against the owner of Santosh Medicos at the earliest possibility. I have a 100% faith on judiciary and urge for taking concrete action against him. Also, would urge for checking his complete books of account of past several years whether they (Santosh medicos) have paid actual income tax to the Government or not.
