Name of company/service: Tikona Digital Networks
I took the tikona broadband connection on 28 December 2011 and my plan was 2 MBPS speed up to 9 GB after that 512 KBPS speed but from the starting date I had problem with connection. I was unable to use internet more than 10 to 15 days in a month and the remaining time internet was very slow (even I was not able to open the tikona login page). I called many times to customer care but my problem was never resolved. The same problem was continuing in each month and each month I was getting the bill. I have paid some bill after the tikona promise that they will give me waiver for non used service. But I never got the waiver. Finally I have requested for disconnection but they didn’t disconnect the connection so that I stopped the further payment. My total due was 2809.56. Today I got the call from Delhi high court (caller No. +919509205654) and an advocate having name Birendra singh Rathor, told that tikona has enrolled the case against you for your non-payment bill. The caller told that if you will pay the total due today within 30 minute then your case will not filed. So I paid the Rs 2909.56 to tikona. Is this right to pay for that service which was not used? Is this a way to rob the money from an ordinary Indian? I don’t know whether I will get the justice or not but I have belief in my constitution so that I am posting my painful request to Consumer forum of India. Kindly help me to take an action against them.
I have the session History of my uses and I have the proof of my all complain and communication details which was done with Tikona regarding service and billing problem.
I would like to mention the region of bad connectivity of tikona was that there was no service point near my residential location so that I was not getting the proper internet
