Complaint against Chevrolet Dealer, “Narbheram Motors” of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

Name of company/service: Chevrolet Dealer, “Narbheram Motors” of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand

This is to inform that I purchased a “Chevrolet Spark LT Car, JH-05-AN-0917” on 1st Feb,2012 (Deal finalised on 31-01-2012) where some commitments & issues have not been resolved till date which have really become a great Harassment & Embarrassment for me.
First of all, I wish to inform that this Complaint is not exactly against “Chevrolet” rather it is actually against the “Chevrolet Dealer, Narbheram Motors, Bistupur, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand”.
The Commitments made to me during purchasing the car were as per the following :-
a) While finalizing the deal, I demanded Rs.5000 more on whatever benefits were offered to me & I also declared that I would only take the car if this discount of Rs.5000 is given. Mr.Avijit, the Delegate of “Narbheram Motors, Jamshedpur”, gave me the verbal assurance that it will certainly be given but instead of several intimations & repeated follow up, it has not been settled till date.
b) I was also committed “Three Years Free Servicing” but since, the Service Centre is outside the city & it remains closed on Sunday, my main concern was to send my car for regular “Three Years Free Servicing” whereas as per my job schedule, it was not at all possible for me to take my car of my own for Regular Servicing. So, here, they again Committed me that they will always arrange “Free Pick up / Drop for the
Stipulated Free Servicing” for coming “Three Years” but unfortunately, after providing “Two Free Services”, they have become silent & during query, they say they have stopped “Pick up / Drop Facility”, sometimes they ask for money for “Pick up / Drop” & till date, they have not arranged or given any kind of solution so that my car gets proper care out of regular servicing.
So, please note that due to the above, presently my car is frequently malfunctioning, both the Remotes of Automatic Locking Facility are not working due to which I also got stuck for three times while travelling. So,
presently, it has become a real harassment for me & at the same time, I am Extremely Unhappy to buy this car only due to their Miss Commitments.
c) Please note my concern that till date, I was strongly expecting the issues would be settled where I had enough mercy & I really did not want to escalate it to Consumer Forum and hence, only due to this, I had been impatiently waiting for the solutions but unfortunately, they are just least bothered to resolve the issues.
Where a car costs few lacks of rupees, Rs.5000 may not be a big factor in comparison to it but here, it is
a matter of not keeping the Commitments and moreover, instead of several intimations, they are not at all concerned to the pain of a customer.
So, I would expect a Strong Action so that no other customer faces it again & with it, I would also demand Rs.5000 with applicable demurrage for harassing me for such a long period of time with coming “Three Years Free Servicing” with “Free Pick up / Drop Facility” as Committed.
d) Please also note that I have been so much harassed & dissatisfied so far that if at all possible, I would like to give back the car in exchange of entire money refund and it will then be the Actual Lesson for the Dealer for such kind of harassment to its’ customer & it will not repeat again to anybody else.

So, please take the Necessary Action as applicable.
