Complaint Against Airtel Broadband Services

To Airtel Broadband Services..

Am lodging this complain with deep dissatisfaction against Airtel broadband Serivces. i had an airtel connection(land line number – 44-42663928) which i was using for more than 6 months. Around the month of february i paid the entire bill at one of the airtel office in chennai (triplicane) also called in customer service requesting to cancel the line permanently as i don’t need it anymore. The agent over the phone said it will be cancelled and checked with him twice for the line cancellation and i was promised the same. Also the agent over the phone said to just return the modem back to the office where i made payment. I accepted and returned the modem next day to the office.

Now after 2 months am getting msgs/calls as well as people coming to my home asking for last 3 months airtel bill which according to them, i have missed.! I spoke to the person who came home and he said i should have given the modem to the main office and also i need to get an acknowledgement for it (about which i was not educated by customer service agent) and when i spoke with a lady from the airtel office she said the line is still active. I seriously can’t understand how the line can be active without modem and also how they can ask me money when i don’t have the modem for past 3 months and the line is not been used.

I am very unhappy with the services by the airtel. I am lodging this complaint against airtel because i need a solution for this issue. Also please do listen to the call which i made to airtel customer service from the airtel office and do the need full.
