Its almost 2 yrs have opened 3 three in one accounts with kotak around March 2012. opening the account we were communicated by kotak people i.e. securities representative that 1 yr for saving account there are no maintenance charges but yet from 1st quarter onwards they had started deducting charges and when I asked them on same there was nobody to reply properly .no of mails on kotak customer care for same no response except to say that visit your branch and after a real long follow up with kotak I visited the branch and met a lady who was bank representative she said she will revert but again no of follow ups and calls and hardly one was answered stating couldn’t reply or do as on leave, out of office and so on for literally 2 months and she had also said I will speak and get it reverted and once it’s done will update you only then deposit money and maintain min amount also they are not fixed on min balance amount as when I opened the account they told me after one yr you need to maintain min balance of 10000,the bank representative who had promised that I will get it revert told me maintain min amt of 10000 when I said 3 acc 10000 I cannot that to when I am at loss from all sides along with unnecessary charges then she said at least 5500 and finally when couple of days before had visited andheri east branch for linking issue he tells me that it was never 10000 for 3 in 1 account. It was always 5500 only and finally the securities person who had guided me to open the account said don’t follow up, I will get the saving account non maintenance charges reverted just sent me the file with deduction. I had done the same and still after calling no of time when they where forcefully made to handle other complains of mine launched at SEBI for linking the account he said linking would be done but reverting amount will take time it seems just bcoz this was not a part of my previous complain.Kotak couldn’t do its work, and approx 10 to 15k non maintenance and other charges they have deducted which was not eligible for 1st yr. but this is actually worst bcoz kotak just is fooling people and finally no body to help at day end.
after a long long run for the above had launged a complain with NSE and had given them all the required proofs on demand.At IGRP also had told that i have proof u can see it over emails and they said no thats ok when you go for arbitration you be ready with the proofs and if you have only then you go for it. I asked what it is and what more other than this would be required they said they will guide you latter.now as per the arbitration norms i need to pay 30K diposit if i am going for it.So finally 40 to 46 k already loss and then 30k more inspite of all proofs given initially what more.
1.they wanted me to prove that before launching a complain to SEBI for demat and trading not linked issue prove that 3 months before you co-ordinated with securities representative and i had sent an email proof where in the date and month was mentioned which states it was the no of months i claimed in the complain.
2. till date they where not agreeing on saving account being zero balance and now when i had dropped a mail at [email protected] i have recived a mail stating it was zero balance if 50k was maintained in some account.so what more proof if you will ask the person that have you robbed or lied am sure all knows that nobody will say yes i have.
but in IGRS the same thing has happened they asked kotak securities representative do you agree and she said no. so go for arbitration.
I want them to pay the all the losses as well for the torturing what they have done since mar 2012
