Complain against Dlink product and its dealer

Email sent to Dlink Helpdesk on 9th July was:-
I purchased a Dlink Wireless N150 ADSL2+ Modem Router from M/s BCS Infotech Solution (Tushar Biswas, Mob: 9831353139, 85, S.P Mukherjee Road, Ganesh Market, 1st Floor, Room No.24, Kolkata-700026) on 30th May 2013 (Bill attached herewith).

Since 04.07.2013, our internet was not working and henceforth we lodged a complain with our service provider Tata Indicom. They came for technical support to find that there is some problem in the Modem Router and asked us to take it back to the shop from where we purchased it. As per their advise, the modem was taken and on 6th July we handed over the modem to the shop for repair under warranty period along with the purchase bill(slip for handing over the product as also attached).

Yesterday in the evening Mr. Tushar Biswas called up and informed us that we have destroyed a sticker that is there in the modem and hence this repair will not be within warranty period. As per their version, they took the modem to D-LINK SERVICE CENTRE. Kaizen Infoserve (P) Ltd, 14, Princep Street, Kolkata-700072, where the service centre has returned the modem stating the tampering of the sticker.

I would like to bring to your notice, that 1st we have not tampered the sticker, On 06 July when we handed them the modem at that time we were not informed anything regarding warranty sticker, suddenly after the product was there with them since Saturday they inform us on this matter on Monday evening. When we went to speak to Mr. Tushar at his shop, he spoke extremely rudely refering time and again that we are fools who have done this. I definitely hold this as an offense and extreme breach of trust as well as fooling customers on point blank.

I am sending this email with all the attachments and expect a speedy step on this matter (within 3 working days maximum) as my office work has been severly effected. I can assure you, without proper favourable response from your end of replacing the modem immediately as the product is within warranty period, I will be forced to take this matter up to the consumer court.

I am sure you will take some measures against this shop owner also who is creating unnecessary harassment to the customers. We are waiting for a reply from your end after which our decision to take the matter on higher and legal method (against this ill mannered shop keeper) will be taken as adequate.

We have not received any feedback from Dlink till date even after repeated intimation. We look forward for your kind support on the same.
