Dear sir,
I am loveleen saini,R/o M-14 Budh vihar phase-1 Delhi-110086.I am a regular customer of NDPL. On 12-06-2013 I submit a a cheque on behalf of NDPL electricity bill with cheque no. 838591(Bank of India,Connaught Circus branch) of amount Rs.1650/- on 24-06-2013 I went to my bank for pass book entry, I saw that my cheque had been bounced on 14-06-2013.And my bank cut the cheque bounce amount of Rs. 100/- but both bank and NDPL did not informe me that my cheque had been bounced. On 17-06-2013 NDPL again deposit my same cheque for clearing but result is same ,cheque had bounced. On 18-06-2013 bank and NDPL again cut cheque bounce amount of Rs. 100/- but again both are (NDPL and bank) didn’t informed me that my cheque had been bounced. When I went to bank manager and discussed the issue that why my cheque had been bounced he told me that it was not our bank fault it was Ndpl’s bank fault and he told me that for complete information i should go to service branch of bank. When I went to service branch ,the officer of service branch told me that the NDPL’s bank (Axis bank) send us wrong cheque image.In 29-05-2012(1 year back) I also submit a cheque with no.838581 but the bank of NDPL (Axis bank) entered wrong cheque number, i.e. ,838591 but the actual cheque number was 838581. So, the service branch officer told me that this cheque no. 838591 was already cleared in 29-05-2012. So, the bank of NDPL send him wrong image of cheque. When I went to NDPL the officer told me that we are not responsible for that your bank may be responsible for that but my officer said that we are not responsible NDPL is responsible.Sir,for last 15 days i have been wondering from there and here but no body is not able to solve my problem. Due to which now i am suffering from mental harassment .As I am a govt. employee ,i am not supposed to take more leaves from office for this matter or issue so i request to you that please understand my problem and solve my issue as soon as possible. I just want to know that who is responsible for that issue and i want to claim to NDPL for this mental harassment and time wastage. Please show me the right path.I will be very glad full to you
