Name of company/service: Standard Chartered Bank
Standard chartered is applying service charges for a credit card that was formally1 closed in Feb 2006. No communication either by means of mail/telephone is made regarding this. When I look into the CIBIL report, it reflects there. They claim that I have to pay around 55K. Is it not their responsibility to send the paper statements or call up my phone? How can they put service charge on a already closed credit card?
