I have been gifted a Washing machine by my daughter few years back. I found some problem last year with its operation. I called the company and they sent their engineer to my place. He rectified the problem and charged me for that which I paid in cash.
Same time he suggested me to join Annual Maintenance Contract call “AMC” receipt no 4995 book number 100 to save repairing charges in future. I paid him Rs 2932 to avail Annual Maintenance Contract for one year in last October 2012.
In the Middle of June 2013 my washing machine ‘Model – Digital Ex Sr . No 000144’ had stop working. I called the number provided on Receipt of the AMC to talk to customer care of the company. They came and checked the problem 3 -4 times but refused to replace the part which has fault saying that it is expensive part and we do not have in stock. They also informed that they will get this part in 4-5 working days from Goa.
Now it has been 20 days and still they don’t have any satisfactory answer to the problem. This has been really very worst management problem of a reputed international company like IFB. I and my wife both are senior citizen and we have to face a lot of problem due to lifeless washing machine.
I have chased this matter to very senior level of the company name Mr. Saurabh and Mr. Vinay Mathur at Mumbai, but unfortunately they don’t have more than polish words and they provide only false hope.
I complaint in this forum so that all users can be familiar with the fact that how poor service of IFB India.
