Cheating with the Customer by the SERVICE PROVIDER
On 19th May 2012. I entered into a contract with M/S ZEN APPLIANCES SALES AND SERVICE of 22/1, P.K.Guha Road, Dum Dum Cantonment, Kolkata-700028 (an Authorized Service Provider of Whirlpool) for ANNUAL MAINTENANCE of new WATER PURIFIER (Item-WHIRLPOOL PURA FRESH DLX RO) purchased on 11th May 2011, with an annual charges for Rs-4,475/- paid in advance, for the cycle effective from May-2012 to April-2013.
On 22nd Sep-2012 I booked a call over cell phone, for checking the UNIT as it was not working in proper manner, against which I received a SMS that an Engineer would visit on the next day but no one cared to visit even after laps of a considerable period.
Having being disappointed with the service I compelled to lodge a complaint through e-mail to the CUSTOMER CARE of WHIRLPOOL on 8th Oct-2012 for impressing the SERVICE PROVIDER to attend for servicing and repairing/replacing the parts, if necessary, for smooth functioning of the UNIT.
After having a series of Mail (attached) with CUSTOMER CARE of WHIRLPOOL no fruitful result has come out , and being a BONAFIDE CONSUMER I have been deprived in getting due contracted service more over it made me to believe that I have been cheated by both the SERVICE PROVIDER and WHIRLPOOL Co.
Sir, you are, therefore, requested to initiate appropriate action against the Service Provider and also against the company inflicting penalty for my satisfaction and redressal.

Dear Sir,
I have purchased one Whirlpool Pura Fresh Dlx Ro Water Purifier on 11-05-2011 from Great Eastern Appliances Pvt Ltd kolkata the AMC of which was given to M/S ZEN APPLIANCES & SERVICE, as per the advise of your esteemed office at kolkata , on & from 19-05-2012 ie one year after the date of purchase.The said contractor though promised to visit on a periodical basis for its maintenance yet not turned-up till date.On 21-09-2012 I register with Your office where from a Satisfaction code & SR no were also generated through SMS but I am very surprised to note that till date they did not care to visit for its service which has compelled me to rgister the complain to your office. Sir it would not be out of place to mention that It is simply a case of cheat for which I will not hesitate to put you before the Approprate Authority.Sir,hence you are requested to arrange to refund me the entire amount on an urgent basis as I do not want to continue with the AMC.

I am very much surprised to note that till date no fruitful action neither taken from your office nor from your kolkata branch for redressal of grievances of a bonafied customer who has paid the demanded amount in advance for AMC. However please note that if no fruitful action is taken by your office,as I demanded in my earlier mail, within 7days, I will not intimate you any further but will initiate legal measure for recovering my claim along with compensation.
