I HAD PURCHASED A KARBONN MOBILE MODEL A1 THRU STARCJ [ MNM TRADING SOLUTIONS PVT LTD ] DURING END MAY 12 [ INVOICE NO 201205210432 DT 12/05/2012 ].
UNFORTUNATELY FROM THE VERY FIRST DAY IT STARTED GIVING TROUBLE . THE TOUCH SCREEN WAS NOT RESONPONDING PROPERLY AND THE BATTERY LIFE WAS EXTREMLY
POOR. I CALLED UP THE SERVIcE CENTRE AT GURGAON [ SMART MOBILE, DUNDAHERE, GURGAON ] AND TOLD ME TO BRING THE MOBLE TO THEM ,WHICH I DID.
THEY TOLD ME TO LEAVE THE MOBILE FOR A DAY AND THEY WILL GIVE BACK ON THE NEXT DAY. THE NEXT DAY IT WAS RETURNED AND TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS SOME MINOR
PROBLEM WHICH THEY HAVE RECTIFIED. WITHIN ANOTHER 4 / 5 DAYS AGAIN THE SAME PROBLEM STARTED AND I TOOK THE SAME AGAIN TO THAT STORE. I HAD TAKEN THE MOBILE
TO THAT STORE AL LEAST 4 / 5 TIMES AND EVERY TIME THEY TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN SORTED OUT WHICH IN FACT HAS NOT SOLVED. THEN THEY REQUEST ME TO GO
TO MUNDRA MOBILE SHOPPEE [ B K MARKETING & DISTRIBUTERS ] WHICH IS ALSO KARBONN SERVICE CENTRE AND CLOSE TO MY HOUSE. THE PEOPLE OF THE STORE VERY NICELY
BEHAVED AND LISTEN TO MY PROBLEM, CHECKED THE PROBLEM AND TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL SEND THE MOBILE TO COMPANY FOR RECTIFICATION. I HANDED OVER THE MOBILE TO
THEM AGAINST REPAIRING JOB SHEET ON 09/10/2012. I HAD CALLED UP SEVERAL TIMES AND VISITED THE STORE WITH MY FATHER A NUMBER OF TIMES AND WE WERE TOLD THAT THE
SET HAS NOT COME BACK FROM THE COMPANY AFTER RECTIFICATION. IN BETWEEN I PERSONALLY MET MR PAWAN OF KARBONN CO AND EXPLAINED HIM THE PROBLEM AND ALSO
TOLD ME TO SEND SAME TO THE COMPANY THRU M/S B K MARKETING & DISTRIBUTERS SO THAT THE SAME CAN BE LOOKED INTO. FINALLY I GOT BACK THE MOBILE AFTER ALMOST
TWO MONTHS ON 12/12/2012 . THOUGH THEY ASSURED THAT IT HAS BEEN RECTIFIED BUT I FOUND ALL THE EARLIER PROBLEMS ARE STILL EXISTING. WHEN I INFORMED MR PAWAN
OVER PHONE ABOUT THIS AND REQUESTED HIM TO CHANGE THIS SET AGAINST A BETTER MODEL AND I AM READY TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE OF AMOUNT FOR THAT. HE STARTED
MISBEHAVING AND TOLD ME THEY WILL NOT EXCHANGE THE SET OR OFFER OTHER MODEL TO ME AND IF I FEEL I CAN GO LEGALLY.I HAVE CHECKED WITH 4 / 5 REPUTED MOBILE STORE
ABOUT THIS MOBILE AND EVERYONE TOLD ME THAT THIS PARTICULAR MODEL A1 OF KARBONN IS HAVING A PARMENANT PROBLEM AND THEY ARE NOT SELLING THAT MODEL TO
ANY CUSTOMER. Recently i had sent a letter to the Manager of Karbonn, a call came from there saying please visit the service centre. They kept down the call without listening that they not ready to take the mobile anymore , because nothng could be done with it !
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW :
** WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM IN THIS MODEL OF KARBONN MOBILE WHY THE COMPANY WILL NOT CHANGE SAME AGAINST OTHER MODEL WHEN I AM READY TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE
** WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM THE COMPANY SHOULD STOP SELLING THIS MODEL
**WHY WE WILL SUFFER AFTER PAYING THE AMOUNT FROM OUT POCKET?
**WHY THE COMPANY WILL NOT COMPENSATE MY MENTAL HARRASEHMENT CHARGES?
** I HAVE UNNECESSARY WASTED MONEY ON TELEPHONE AND TRAVELLING AND TIME FOR GOING SEVERAL TIMES TO THEIR SERVICE CENTRE
** I REQUEST CONSUMER FORUM TO SUPPORT & HELP ME FOR JUSTICE AND SHOULD ARRANGE TO COMPENSALE THE MONETORY & MENTAL HARRESMENT FROM KARBONN.
