Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Kartikey kumar Agrawal and I lives in Varanasi (U.P.). In the year 2010, I have taken ICICI Pru LifeStage Pension Policy (Policy # 13474355) and paid Rs. 2,11,000/- through my bank
cheque. I have buy this policy from a ICICI sales executive named Mr. S.K. Rai who came to my place and convince me about the policy. Since I was only interested to buy single premium policy
and Mr. Rai assure me about this and I have buy the policy.
However, after one year in 2011 when I received a call from ICICI Prudential office in Mumbai for 2nd year premium of Rs. 2,11,000 than only I came to know that we have to deposit same amount atleast two more years to get benefit of policy. I was surprised and shocked to hear this on phone because I have buy this policy as a good return investment of my money and under the impression that this is single premium policy. After that moment, when I tried to contact Mr. S.K. Rai at ICICI, I have been informed that Mr. Rai has been left the service.
Now, after completing 3 years of policy on Feb 25th 2013, I have recd a cheque of just Rs. 37,170/- from ICICI Prudential alongwith a covering letter informing me about foreclosure of my
policy. It was really a great shocking moment for me when I see the figure of Rs. 37,170/- on the cheque against my invested money of Rs. 2,11,000/-.
Now, through this letter, I am filling my complaint at your esteemed consumer forum against ICICI Prudential with the hope that you will do something to recover my valuable money.
