Dear Mr. Shah,

Can you please tell me that what exactly the reason of changing the hotel booking from “Hotel Samrat” to “Hotel Kurumanchal” if I had already made the payment.

I mean I made the booking in Hotel Samrat then what type of need is generated at Make My Trip to change it to Hotel Kurumanchal.

Is there anyone in Make My Trip who can respond to me, or should I assume that I had been cheated and never use MMT in future and tell all my friends & Family that they should
start using other services.

Dear Mr. Shah,

The Case is
I booked a hotel through MMT in Nainital. Hotel name was Hotel Samrat from 26/05/2012(check in) – 28/05/2012(check out) [see attached document “Samrat Booking”].
This booking was done on 21 st May 2012.
Then after 2 days Mr. Nikhil Bhardwaj called me and told me that there is some mistake from MMT, the hotel which you had booked on internet is actually not available, we
are very sorry and we will provide you an another booking. I have no other option other than to say YES. Mr. Nikhil Bhardwaj changed my booking to Hotel Kurumanchal. I searched this hotel on internet to see the location of hotel & finding some pics of hotel & it’s room but I was unable to find it. Then I requested the pics of hotel on mail to Mr. Nikhil. I received the pics on 25 th May 2012 and on 26 th May 2012 I have to check in so I didn’t get much time to react on it.
Now, on 26 th may 2012
morning I reached Nainital then I feel that I have been cheated because of the following reasons

1. Kurumanchal hotel is situated very far from the Mall road whereas samrat is on the Mall road.
2. There is no arrangement of parking.
3. There is no proper road to reach the hotel. And very skilled hilly drivers are required to take the Car to that hotel.
4. There is no cleanliness in the hotel, garbage is thrown in front of rooms.
5. Hotel members were warning us not to roam
outside(specially while eating) because this area has lot of Monkeys and can be a great danger.
I was with my family and stuck in that situation and thinking whether I came here for enjoy my weekend or just to be lock myself in the hotel room of Nainital.
Then I decided to leave the hotel, before entering into the rooms we left the place and find another place.
All my money which I took with me for enjoying was consumed in the new hotel booking and all my trip is lost in counting the rest of the
money.

Let me tell you one more thing I am not the first time user of MMT. Before that I had spent more than 2.5 lakh on MMT like laddakh, Mauritius etc. This is the worst experience I had.
