I purchased a CG ceiling fan on 18.09.2012 vide Cash memo no. 4612 from S.K. Electricals).The fan has a 2 year waranty.
The fan started giving trouble. whenever I switch on the fan there is a continuous metallic sound.I lodged a complaint with customer care vide no. 1208027309 on 16.08.2012. The co. has appointed one Ramneek Enterprices to attend the complaint. They visited me and told me that the Main shaft of the fan has worn out and needs replacement and for which they need to take the fan to their workshop and it may take a few days/ even a month to rectify the problem. I requested them to provide me a Stand by fan as in Delhi during this season fan is required for 24 hours a day. The technician gave his report and went back and told me that the co. shall contact me.
but till date I have sent 3 reminders to the co. but to no effect. Earlier also one of my another fan faced similar problem and was replaced with a new motor at my premises only. But now the co. is not providing me the replacement/ rectification of the fault.
