Cab Cancelled 4 minutes prior to the reporting time

Location/place: New Delhi

Name of company/service: Arya Cab

I booked a cab for my uncle on 13th July 2012 for 11.45 PM from By-pass Karnal Road to Janakpuri C-3 Block. The representative who answered the phone booked the cab on the said time, when I called them at 10.54 PM. They even texted me the reference number 1000783650 and said they will be sending me the booking details 20 minutes prior to the pick-up time.

However, I got a text message exactly 4 minutes before the pick-up time (11.41 pm) stating- ‘Dear Customer- We regret our inability to provide a cab to you currently. We look forward to serve you in future. Have a nice day’. I mean what kind of customer relationship you are building. You didn’t even call me to inform and thought of giving the reason for cancelling the booking. And just 4 minutes prior to booking, how can you expect someone to arrange for a transport. At last, my uncle had to take and Auto-rickshaw to come to Janakpuri at midnight.

I would request you to tell me how to go about and take a strict action against this.
