Brand New phone is not working.

Name of company/service: Croma Juhu

I bought a phone from Croma, juhu Mumbai. Its a HTC One V.
After a week the phone stopped working. HTC service center said the motherboard has got spoilt.
The receipt given by Croma is fading and hence the date of purchase (30th May 2012) is not visible.
HTC says after 13 days (which is today) I will have to pay out of my pocket to repair the product. So i asked croma to give me a duplicate bill but they are not sending one and I am in a fix.
Never BUY HTC NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM CROMA.
