I Called up Flipkart on 24 MARCH 2015 asking if the Blackberry 9900 displayed on their website for Rs.11000 is genuine or not. Also checked reviews about Sunshines Sales, Delhi that the seller sell refurbishment products. The flipkart rep informed me that they sell 100% Genuine and original product. I went with the word… Puchased Blackberry 9900 the same day 24 March. Received the on 30 March 2015.
Switched on the BB phone TELUS name was display. Original BB never comes with ISP’s name. I checked the spec. Internal storage which is supposed to be 8 GB was just 6 GB. Check the earphone were of cheap quality, duplicate charger there was no name Blackberry on the earphones. I have BB9700 BB9320. I have been using Blackberry for almost 5 years.
I made a call was not able to hear the other person on the line. The track pad had scratches on it.
– Carry Case was missing
– Polishing cloth was missing
– Global support kit was missing
– Quick reference guide was missing
– Safety and product information kit was missing
I would had ignored it but why the name TELUS is comes up. That indicate that it was a imported phone. That’s not all the phone cannot be configured for BIS services, It can be configured only for BES services which a normal home user. Where in a Original Blackberry phones gives you options to either setup Personal Email account or Enterprise email account. I spoke to Blackberry support they informed me that the phone will be not covered for any warranty.
Got the phone replaced with Blackberry 9900 and received it on 4 April 2015.
Switched on the phone ORANGE names pops up. This time the internal storage when checked was 200MB. All the above documentation was missing. The charger supplied was broken and while charger was not charging.
I called Flipkat the next day 5 April 2015 for replacement. They took my request and said the seller Sunshine Sales, Delhi has rejected my replacement. flipkart called me saying they would give me refund of Rs.400 for the blackberry charger. I know the original charger is the market is costing around Rs.1200 to Rs.1500.
After speaking to the flipkart rep for an hour they were still not convinced to give me refund. I had only one option to file compliant to consumer forums against Flipkart After that they agreed to give me refund of Rs.11000. As the Seller Sun shines Sales, Delhi was not ready to replace it.
I have everything documented with me. I have also mention the above details in the product review, but flipkart has still not posted it live on their website.
I dont know about other products but I would never buy a phone from flipkart. They have broken my trust.
