My billing cycle is 11th of every month. Ghaziabad Authority had banned the services of Airtel on April 27th, 2013 (which we got to
know on May 19th, 2013). Therefore my services were disconnected automatically on April 27th and after regular follow up with Airtel
team no such information was provided yet they kept fooling us that the services would resume shortly on every follow up – they logged
several complaints in the systems and resolved them every time without doing anything as the airtel services were anyways not
available since 27th april. After a heated conversation on May 19th they admitted the fact that airtel services have been banned by
the ghaziabad authority and airtel will not be able to provide any services more. After knowing this I logged a request for
disconnection on may 21st to make it official. Now the issue is since I got service of airtel broadband only for half of the month
(April 11- April 26) i.e only 15 days – I am ready to pay the bill on prorate basis and take the necessary charges from us. I have
been harassed on every call that I need to make the full payment of 1180 – i.e. the monthly bill + the bill generated on May 11th,
2013.
The lady who is calling from number – is simply not getting the point and arguing to make the complete payment
I gave a request to disconnect the connection after waiting for good 20 days and that too after knowing that the problem is from
Airtel side as they are unable to provide any further services.
What logic does it make that I have to make the payment even when there was problem with GDA and Airtel.
