I bought MTS internet pack and i was not happy with their service and i terminated the service and payed the full amount, for termination i called MTS customer care the person asked me to visit the nearest MTS store for that, i went to MTS store and the person in the office said i can get it terminated from without me coming from to store i just had to call and give some information like account name and number, any ways i made a call from the office and asked the billing amount that i had to pay to close my account the person on phone calculated and gave me the amount i have to pay, i asked them to give me a statment or at-least a text message for the amount i need to pay and the person refused and said it can be done as it was not their procedure, i paid the amount and got conformation from them that the account termination process has started, after one month i get a bill from MTS to pay around 150 RS, i replied back asking the reason why i have to pay the bill after service termination for that they gave me a very inappropriate answer, i ignored the email and they called me today saying that they are calling from Delhi and told me that they have a case against me in Delhi high court, which obviously was untrue, the person whom i spoke on phone was talking in a very harsh tone, i dropped the call saying that i will talk to them in court if needed, now the amount that i have to pay is very minimal i can just pay and forget about it but the thing is that why should i give it for free, and i dont want them to harass others like me, i have seen may posts in google related to this fraud i wish i would have seen it before getting the service, i am also worried about my CIBIL score getting affected by it, can you help me with this.
