I Ammar Totanawala enquired about a Honda Activa deluxe on 11th May 2013 in an outlet named Venetian Honda (Hem Agencies Mumbai) and was attended by a sales representative named Rohan who gave me an overview about the bike which
I was looking for and said that the waiting period of that bike was 2 months after which I would be called to make a payment and wait for 15days to get the bike delivered.
So I booked an Activa deluxe on the 11th May 2013 with a booking amount of Rs1000 booking# 34540 and waited for 2months, after waiting for 2 months when i didnt receive a call from venetian honda i was curious so i called them and they said that I would have to wait for some unforseen circumstances.
After waiting for another week I called them again but all efforts in vain, after waiting for 15days ie. on 26th July 2013 I called them again and they asked me to come and make a full payment which I did.
Curious to get the bike I did and waited for the time they said, they were already late delivering the bike as the waiting period had exceeded 2months.
No calls as promised. After making the payment of Rs 57093 on the 26th July 2013 I was told to was for 15days to receive the bike so I waited paitently.
On August 11, 2013 I went to Venetian Honda to ask for my bike and was attended by an agent named Vimlesh and said that he would call me to know the status but he didnt, when I called him he said it would take about a week and the bike would be delivered.
I then received a call on the 20th August 2013 saying that I have been alloted a bike and would be delivered within a week, when I called them on the 26th August 2013 and spoke to vimlesh he said that I would have to wait for a week more, getting frustated I asked them for a full refund and they said that they wouldnt be able to give that and rather I would have to wait to get the bike.
Its disgusting how these people operate, why dont they say it in the first place that u will have to wait for a period of 4 months so we can look for other options. Venetian Honda is responsible for the stress I had to take, the time I lost behind them, the cost of calls and transportation cost made by me.
Akosha I know you guys are doing a good job and hope that my complaint will be resolved soon as well.
Im sure you guys would take drastic steps to answer my complaint and provide me justice so that I can get my bike and also some refund for all that I had to go through at the earliest.
Please help.
