I bought a Sony Playstation3 one year before.. Since am in need of cash, i posted an add in olx.in to sell it… Then i got an offer from Carine Sandin saying that she is an Indian Citizen and now she is in Republic of Georgia coz her brother met with an accident.. She wanted me to courier ma PlayStation and games to her son studying in Obafemi Awolowo University , Nigeria… I asked her to pay me 700$ including shipping charges.. She agreed and mailed me that she had send my money through online.. I got confirmation mail from Scotia Bank regarding this… They asked me to courier things to activate the amount in ma bank account.. Trusting that I send the PlayStation games to her son..For this I lost 150$.. Now her bank authorities are asking me to pay 200$ to activate the cash coz its a transaction fee.. I doubted her and asked me to give her identity proof.. She mailed me a picture and Indian Passport.. Both of them were fake… I got exactly same images when i looked in google images.. Actually am in a tight situation so i request u to initiate steps to catch that culprit…

    You should have checked the email id from which you got the transfer email. I got the email from “[email protected]” which made me suspicious since this is not an official email id. I did a google search and found your post…

    For you case, you cannot do anything now… but we can always learn from our mistakes and make others aware (which you did).

    Thanks bro even me i put up an Iphone 6 plus ad in olx and she call me saying that she is Lara sofia and wanted to buy mt phone with 30,000$ so she send the money through online but i was in abit doubt and i didn’t send my phone cause i know it’ll be fraud and when i check this scotia bank alert website i came to know that this is a fraud website so i learned a lesson from this………so dear friends don’t believe in this fraud website…..thank you all
