I have taken a Home Loan from Axis Bank in 2008. Bank had verified all the property related documents provided by my Builder before giving the Sanction Letter to me. Bank had taken a processing Fee upfront and that includes the service charge of getting the Documents verified by Bank’s advocate and provide the Legal Opinion Report to the Bank.
I am now asking for a copy of the Legal Opinion Report from the Bank for which I have already for the service. Bank is refusing to give me the Report citing the reason as “it’s banks internal document, hence it cannot be provided to you”.
Looking for expert advice on this issue.
