Hi,
REF: APC customer service complaint# C1-3784287270
I had purchased a new APC UPS E650 in June 2010. The UPS battery stopped working in April 2012, and company replaced my UPS with a so called ‘new unit’. However, the battery of the new unit also stopped working in Aug 2012 (note: in just 4 months). Since my warranty period on the original unit expired on June 2012, APC is asking me to replace the battery in the new unit by paying a whopping Rs.1400/-.
The APC customer care executive informs me now that the replaced unit was not a new unit, but only a re-furbished one. It is very evident that APC has deliberately provided a faulty unit as warranty replacement of my original unit , just to help them tide over my warranty period. It is unacceptable that the battery of a new UPS becomes totally useless in just 4 months of time!
I request APC to give bare minimum respect to the hard earned money of their unfortunate customers, and provide me with a proper replacement free of cost. The only mistake I did was in buying a APC UPS spending about Rs.3800, and I am being tortured with a more insulting customer service now. Hoping to get some justice from APC ,
Thanks,
Krishnaprasad
