We bought a new prepaid SIM card from one of the Airtel dealers around one month back in the name of my father, Mr. Balwant Madaan, having the number as 9589894789.
It got blocked 6 days back and upon inquiry from the main office situated in city centre, we came to know that it has been deleted. The above number also had some talktime of Rs. 200.
One of the representative at the airtel main office, named Mr. Ritesh, also told us that this number was earlier assigned to some one else and due to target pressure the airtel dealer sold us the same number in our name, which airtel authorities could not confirm on verification and hence deleted the number. After this he sent a mail to some higher authority to restart the same number in our name and promised us to start the number in coming 3 business days. But after completion of those 3 days, the number has not yet started and also the left over balance has also been deducted.
I request you to kindly help us by looking into the matter gravely since airtel has also started bank like services recently where people would never like to get duped as they do now.
