Hi,
This is here to inform you that Airtel (Karnataka) has collected an amount of Rs. 400 from me as a caution deposit which is to be refunded after the first billing of my number.
My Mobile No: 9902070910
I actually received a call from airtel team explaining me a plan in postpaid and asking to me convert to post paid.
As per the call, they sent an executive to my home and they collected the required documents and also collected an amount of Rs 450 ( 400 as deposit and 50 as a personal commission/tip for the executive) informing me that my number will be converted to postpaid in 48 hrs of time.
This happened in the month of february 2013.
They arranged a address verification and sent me a sms that my address verification is done.
Its been more than a month and there has been no response from the airtel team regarding the conversion.
I have been calling to the executive who has asked me to call them back in case of any problem, but to my surprise, the lady never picked up the phone till date ever since collecting the documents and money from me.
Its nearly a month by now and nothing has changed.
The following are the numbers of the people who has contacted me.
1. Ms Tarini (Postpaid executive) : 9731305202
2. Mr Nagaraj ( document collector) : 8105709319
3. Mr Dinesh ( His executive ) : 8105728921
I guess this seems like a fraud and i request airtel to look into the matter or in case if its genuinely related to airtel, then its a shame on them.
I request some airtel executive to respond to this at the earliest.
