Airtel Forced subscription

Location/place: Bangalore

Name of company/service: Airtel

I have been forcefully renewed for CARTOON OF THE DAY subscription and charged Rs.1.5 every day on my pre-paid Airtel connection. I have contacted Customer care service to stop this but they have not taken any action. My reply to these text messages are also blocked.

    me too.
    how on earth do we stop this. the money cut everyday amounts to a lot over a month or 2 and money is not growing on tree for me. if this does not stop in another week or so i am gonna stop using Airtel and gonna spoil their name too

    If you people find a solution to this issue please post it here. I am being charged from last 1 week. Called customer service 3 times . but no use.

    SCAM FROM AIRTEL ?????

    “You have been renewed for CARTOON OF THE DAY subscription service from Airtel. you have been charged Rs 1.5.”

    Called customer service twice , They say they will deactivate,bUT THEY DON’T TAKE ANY ACTION,
    THEN WHEN BLASTED THIRD TIME, THEY STOOPED AND REFUNDED THE AMOUNT TO MY ACCOUNT.

    BUT AFTER SOMETIME IT STARTED COMING AGAIN ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

    Rather then the loss of Amount, It is the message which comes daily which is annoying.
