I had taken ACT Broadband connection in 2012 .
I was informed that if i agree to install the modem i would get a rebate of 50rs per month.They later fixed a metal box case outside my house with modem inside and also gave direct electirc connection.
A couple of months later an ACT guy came home and said that there was some problem with the cable and that he needs to fix it, unsuspectingly i gave him the key for that metal box case which had the modem.Later I realised that he had actally provided another connection to somebody staying next road.When i spoke to the customer care they said that the modem is to be used to provide 8 connections.In short, I have the metal box with the modem drilled and fixed in my house,I have to provide electic connection required for the modem and later 7 people will have their connection th’r that modem.
WOW what social service!!!!
I had clearly told them that this would be the last connection and i that i would not agree for any other connection and it was agreed by them.
The best part is if the other ACT customer who got his connection from the modem fixed in my house has any problem with his internet connection the ACT guy has informed him to check the problem direcly with me.
Even after being assured that there would not be any more connection a couple of days before again another ACT guy came home with the same lie….
“Madam there is some problem with the cable i need to fix it”
later he admitted that he had actually come in to provide a 3rd connection to some other ACT customer .
My advice to people planning for ACT broadband-
PLZ DONT EVER OPT FOR ACT BROADBAND…
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
THEY ARE JUST A BUNCH OF LIARS!!!!
