About Refund of cancellation of tickets..

Location/place: Jaipur, Raj.

On 18-6-12 two return(to & fro) tickets for travel from Jaipur to Mumbai (on 1-7-12 @ 5:30 AM) and for travel from Mumbai to Jaipur (on 4-7-12 @ 20:10 PM) were booked for myself Ms. Poonam Kshatriya (PNR 6EMI5IAG, Rs. 7896) and my father Mr. Sunderdas Kshatriya (PNR 6EVHB3DD, Rs. 7396(used discount voucher of Rs.500)) for attending some religious function on 3-7-12 at Ulhasnagar for a total amount of Rs. 15292, through website “goibibo.com”.

It will be worth mentioning that initially one return ticket was offered for Rs. 6300 but after about 10-15 mins the same was offered for Rs.6600. After confirming the rate (it showed Rs. 6600) when I booked and immediately when payment was made the amount deducted was Rs. 7896. Immediately I lodged the complaint for which no reply has been received so far.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the return journey had to be preponed but were unable to take Indigo’s (rescheduling is possible within same flight carrier) morning flight at 5:40 AM, since it was difficult to reach Mumbai from Ulhasnagar (≈70 kms.)and report Mumbai Airport at 4:00 AM . so it was decided first to cancel only the return flight and take some other carrier’s flight at around 9:00 AM on 4-7-12. But the partial cancellation was also refused by the site “goibibo.com”.

However it was decided to cancel both to & fro (return) journeys and I confirmed twice/thrice on their helpline no. 092130 25552. Mr. Gaurav & Ms.Richa confirmed about the cancellation charges Rs. 1300 (Rs. 950+250+100) per ticket and refund of Rs. 6596 & Rs. 6296 (within 3 days) and cancellation allowed 4 hrs prior to journey commencement time. Then I finally cancelled both the tickets on 30-6-12 at 10:15 AM. But till date nothing has been refunded in my account. When asked about refund they are telling all new things saying you need to cancel 24 hrs before the flight time etc. As such no satisfactory reply is been given about the refund.

I request you to kindly take action against this case.
