Misuse of Credit card and discrepancies in Holiday package

Dear Sir

I was invited to ‘country club sarjapur resort’ on 23 October 2011 to collect my gift hamper. At the same time we were given a brief about the country vacation package. I opted for one such vacation plan after discussing same with a country vacations employee and his manager Ms. Mamtha.
I am listing below the events which happened from that moment onwards, due to which I have lost both money and time.

1. I was told that I have to pay 25000 INR for first year in 12 equal interest free installments. Also I was conveyed that country vacations have understanding with HSBC bank for this plan and that my HSBC credit will be sufficient to activate this scheme. Once I handed over my HSBC credit card to CV employees, they returned it to me after 1 hour and came back with a card swipe statement of 25000 INR. I asked Mamtha that why this slip shows 25000 instead of 2000 (approx.) per month, to which she replied that 25000 will be converted to 12 installments and processing may take one day. I was convinced and signed the transaction slip. After waiting a day I called HSBC customer care and asked status of same transaction. To my surprise I came to know that there is no such 12 month installment plan activated on my credit card and that INR25000 has been withdrawn as single transaction by country vacation people. Until I pay back the same amount to bank I will have to pay interest to the bank (obvious). I tried contacting Mamtha, but her phone was always coming not reachable and the email which I sent to country vacation bounced back with message “mailer demon failure delivery notification”. After multiple tries I was provided number of Mr. Imran (kormangala office), who started asking me to get another credit from HDFC bank. It has been more 3 months that I am paying hefty interest to HSBC bank (which I was not supposed to pay). And nobody is providing me any resolution to this problem. I want INR25000 paid back to HSBC bank and refund of the interest which has incurred on INR25000.

2. During the presentation hour at country vacation I was told by CV representative (Mr. Bharath) about the benefits of being a member of country club. I told him that I am going to have a birthday party within a month and I will like to use services of country club for this. I told him that some time back one of my friend (who is not a member of Country club) had a birthday party here and he paid for stage / lounge decoration. Bharath immediately assured me that as a country club member I will not have to pay for stage / lounge decoration. On November 22, 2011 I organized birthday party at Country club and once again to my surprise, I was told by club manager that all expenses of stage decoration were yours and that CV employees have conveyed you wrong information. At that moment I paid an external decorator for decoration of stage and lounge. I talked to Mamtha about this and she told me that the employee who explained you terms and conditions has left the company. This way she walked out of this issue leaving me with bad feelings about CV.

3.I was committed by Mamtha that I will receive my membership photo ID within a day or two (I provided photos of myself and my family) but it has been 10 months now and no information of same. As per Mamtha, CV employee has left the company with my documents.

4. I am totally disappointed from the response of CV staff. First i was referred to Mr. Imraan (customer care head at Kormangala office), who assured me that he will revert the money and take care of problem. But nothing happened even after my repeated visits and phone calls. After few months of struggle i came to know that Imraan has left the company, i was back to Mamtha (the key person responsible for all the dealing and selling us this package). Once again i didn’t get any answer and i was referred to another person in CV sarjapur office called Mr. Praveen. After struggling for few months (three visits and endless phone calls) he has confirmed that he cannot do anything, he has referred case again to customer care and that i should start visiting Kormangala office.I started talking about the issue in dealing from the very moment my card was swiped, but nobody cared about it, rather in the due course of time other commitments made by CV were proved to be wrong.

Above mentioned issues are sufficient to convince me that how unprofessional CV staff is and just to get a customer, they can make fake promises to any extent. I have lost all interest in CV plans and package after coming across all this and want an immediate solution to my problem. i want complete payback of money i paid, including compensation for harassment due to staff and their fake commitments.
