I have applied with my spouse for Masters of Public health program in Deakin International University,Australia for February 2012 intake.I received the offer letter and prepared my documents for student spouse dependent visa.Our agent who contacted us with this university,he misguided us by saying that we can show 100% 3rd party funds.Just because my father has invested his money in property as he is a financer and my husband is too young for heavy investments in banks,we took his suggestion in positive way and trusted him completely and showed 100% 3rd party funds.This big scandal leads to refusal in which a clear and proper reason is mentioned that your sponser is widow and she has two children also,so how come she gonna give you her money.We sent second request to visa officer just after our refusal regarding considering our case.But he mentioned clearly that we do not have any such problem in your profile,just change your funds or attach more documents supporting your funds and lodge the file again.
But our agent first misguided us that we got refusal because of spouse, As Australian Embassy is not giving visas to spouse cases.He wasted our time but we forced him by saying that we want to reapply because as per refusal letter they did not mention anything regarding spouse,they had problem with funds and this time we gonna take educational loan and my father sold his property and we have cash in our account now.He contacted University for new offer letter for July 2012 intake as we missed the February classes.According to new embassy SVP rules,authority has been given to universities.If university will issue you the COE(confirmation of enrollment which we get after paying fee and is next document after receiving offer letter)then the chances of getting visas are like 80-90% sure because now universities verify on behalf of embassy.
When our agent requested for new COE document which we required to attach with our file,one of the University’s employee who was the incharge,she mentioned that university will issue us offer letter again which will take 3-4 weeks time and it will only be issued if we will show self funds.We agreed to her decision and already decided that we will show whole money by ourselves.
The request for new offer letter was sent in mid of April and they took my 25 minutes telephonic interview and she asked me every single question regarding my case.I signed a form also marking that we will be taking loan and arranging money by ourselves. After taking 3-4 weeks they issued me new offer letter.
As bank wants offer letter to sanction loan,we waited another 4 weeks for bank procedure.After this long period,We sent them all the documents including financial papers also.We started waiting for another interview which was taken by the university for issuing the COE.They took the interview after one week and refused to issue the COE mentioning the reason that We took educational loan,we have refusal and my spouse is going with me.They knew about our case from the very first day that my spouse is going with me,secondly they themselves wanted us to take educational loan and they knew about refusal before issuing new offer letter.
We have all the proofs with us which shows their fraud,misguidance,wastage of time and money.
I have got a gap in my studies now and my career is at stake because of them.
Firstly our agent misguided us and later university spoiled our 4 months almost and we missed intake in other universities also and now they are asking the reason of gap also.My profile is spoiled because of this.I am a dentist and completed my all qualifications above 60% and scored 7 bands in IELTS.My profile is ruined because of this.
