Regarding the negligent service of ONIDA

We have purchased an ONIDA WashingMachine on August 27, 2011 which was working fine until July, 2012. we started facing issues in late July and raised the complain @ 080-39889000 on July 22nd, 2012. We received the request#: 12078136380749 for the issue and was informed by the service team that the technician would come in next 2 days. However, until 26th July, 2012, no one turned up. We had a technician visit on 26th July who examined the machine and found the issue. He promised that he would come on 27th July and will fix the issue. However, no one showed up and the technician was not picking up the call.

I then called the customer service desk at the number given above who informed that the according to the technician, the issue was fixed on 23rd of July, 2012. When I reported that the information is wrong, the agent has then provided the service center number# 9916908099 (Mr. Gokul)stating that he is the supervisor of Bangalore center. When I called up at this number, this turned out to be of ONIDA Accountant’s number and the person passed the phone to a lady (As she informed, her name is Nirmala)who checked the status and promised that a technician would visit to fix the issue on the same day (July 27, 2012). She also said that she will check and confirm on this. She even gave another number 080-40923129(Of Service Center head, as she said) and 9916908070 (Same number of the person. This number infact does not exists.)

After all this, I didn’t get any call confirming if the technician would come. Later, I got a call from the number +918553020652 (stating his name as Raju) and said that he will send a technician and will confirm for the same. Since then, I have not received any call and no one turned up.

This is an unexceptable and completely careless service. I had to stay awake whole day after coming from my work at 8 AM in the morning and was of no use. Moreover, they have closed the request based on their technician statement without confirming if the issue is fixed.

It looks like these guys feel that we do not have an option and are left on their mercy. I want to file a complain on ONIDA after Sales service and the problems we are facing due to them.
