   Regret to hear about this issue with your Dell battery. Let us help you to resolve the problem. The problems described can either be caused by a software glitch or a hardware failure and we would need some more details to further understand the issue. If incase the battery is faulty, the battery health meter can used to diagnose the current health of the battery. This can be done by installing the Dell Quickset application from the Dell support website unless already installed.

   Please follow the mentioned steps to check the battery status:

   • Look for the battery icon on the lower right side of the screen.

   • Right click on the icon and select the option that says Dell Battery Health Meter.

   • Click on the option that says Battery Health.

   • If the Battery health shows as End Of life then the battery needs to be replaced.
