I had booked the Aakash tablet immediately when it was launched. However, I received a mail message from the Company in the month of February 2012 that the product Aakash has been sold out and that my booking has been upgraded to Ubislat 7+ and if I wish to confirm the booking for the same, I should make the payent of Rs.2999/- immediately.
As asked by them, I had sent them my cheque no.574231 dt.25.02.2012 for Rs.2,999/- drawn on State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, Malad Branch in favour of Datawind Innovations Pvt. Ltd. against booking of my Ubislate tablet. This cheuqe has already been encashed by the Company having credited from my bank account on 19.03.2012.
However, since I did not receive any confirmation from their end regarding the receipt of the cheque, I kept on writing various mails to them and I finally got a response mail from their end when I filed on online complaint at their website. This mail from their end confirmed having received my payment and that the product would be delivered to me in the next 10-15 days and asked me to confirm my delivery address, which I promptly did.
However, ever since that date, I have been following up for the delivery of my product booked but there has been absolutely no response to any of my mails.
I call upon the Company to deliver my product booked immediately for which I have made the payment as sought by them, more than 5 months back, failing which I shall be constrained to seek legal action against the company with the appropriate consumer forum, at their cost, which they may kindly note.
