Dear sir/ma’am,
I had an account with Citibank since 2008 with account numbers ER 5128060229 and 5128060225. During my services in Citibank (back office), the company was sold of to TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) and after I quit TCS Eserve Ltd. on May 2009, I decided to close my account with Citibank which was now a part of TCS.
Therefore, when I asked my provident fund to be credited to my Citibank account which was Rs. 9,800/-, it almost took a year for them to do that and it was finally credited around March 2010, though I sent the necessary documents regarding to the closing of my Citibank account even through registered post.
I then decided to end the whole account with Citigroup and transfer all my funds which was there with Citibank (which was Rs. 35,662.25) to my Bank Of India account Noida, sector-9 branch, and thus on 21st April 2010 I closed my account with Citigroup telling them to transfer my amount with them to my account with Bank Of India branch in Noida, sector-9 but still nothing has been done with regard to this.
I sincerely hope that you will take necessary action against this and also allow me to get suitable compensation as I have lost interest on the amount on the fixed deposit because of this unnecessary delay.
