I have ordered an item from SnapDeal online shopping on 17th June,2012. The order was deleivered at the specified address on 22nd June,2012. The piece that was delivered was defective with half of the item not in the box.
So I had lodged a complaint in the so called Customer Care of SnapDeal. From the support team i got an assurance that the item would be replaced provided I send them few snaps of the defective item. That was done from my side on a sooner note. Then again the support team said they would intimate me within 24 hrs, since then almost 5 days have passed with no contact from their side.
Suddenly i get a call saying that the item wont be replaced and i will be given a deal of 200 rps discount on my next purchase.
So if this is the service from SnapDeal ( one of the elite online shopping sites) why will any customer go ahead.
Donno how much action will be taking on this complaint but this is at all not acceptable from a customer perspective.
