No possession of the flat yet! 7th Month now…

Location/place: Navi Mumbai

Name of company/service: Runwal Group

As per agreement with Runwal Group, possession of my flat (in Runwal Garden City, Phase 2, Balkum, Thane) was supposed to be on 31st December 2011 but not yet got the possession till today, 23-Jun-2012. Looking at the construction, it looks like it may get delayed by 1 more year. (total +18 months delay).

I’m staying on rent basis in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai. I seek either my rent to be paid by Runwal for this delay or I should get atleast 9 to 10% interest on the amount paid to Runwal (About INR 26 Lacs as of today).

Kindly help me on this matter.

    Hi Amit,

    I also booked flat in Phase II, Jasmine on September 2009 but still ther is no possession. Me also facing the same issue, had a several talk with the management and sales people but they are irresponsible.

    My query has been resolved and it was a warm experience. I’ve got the possession of the above flat with no issues. Please disregard my earlier post.

    I received pooja kit as well from Runwal group.
    It was overall good experience at the end.

    Runwal is totally irresponsible builder. It seems delaying possession and extracting money is standard practice. Customer care / sales people are trained on how to create problems and delay matters for ulterior motives. Keep away from them.
