1: POOR PRODUCT QUALITY: I purchased the Air cooler VN-D50E 3 weeks back which one of the top of the line unit with remote control and sensors.
Had used it for 10 days and then started generating problem with the sensors which will come on automatically and stays on making an irritating beep noise. no mater what is the water level it will stay on shut off the motor turning the cooler into a useless fan throwing hot air which makes it worthless. First of all this was not expected from a TATA PRODUCT at such a short usage.
2: VERY VERY VERY POOR AFTER SALES, I would rather say shitty after sales support.
I Raised a complain on 23rd April morning , #16042304352 for the issue and was assured this will be taken care of in next 24 hours. I was told engineer will call and if does not then call a phone number 08041311700 for the local service center KRISH TECHNOLOGY which no one responds to . After making 30 call to that number no body responded to the phone though it was busy at times. i wonder why to keep a phone if you cant respond it to. I called back again and spoke to customer services and was informed that the case is escalated and and I should have engineer visiting by 26th morning 10am (24 hours gone already)and the engineer should call before coming . NO CALL , AND NO ONE SHOWED UP. I call back again and was connected to escalation team who said that they have contact some local manager as well as area manager and should a call back as soon a 2-3 hours. Am you will not be surprised that no one call me even after 6 bloody hours and which i called up the ccare again and now the escalation team says the case is already escalated to area manager and you can expect a call by 9 PM . well I guess in that case they were planing to send an engineer at midnight. And yeah am writing this complaint at around midnight still awaiting an update on engineer visit which now i have lost hope. I would rather take a refund for the product than sitting an waiting for an engineer. The TATA Brand is bullshit . They have concern for providing the service even at the area manager level . what more can be expected. I was planning 2 split AC from voltas but with this experience I have changed my mind and would strictly ADVISE EVERYONE – DON’T GO FOR TATA’s COOLING PRODUCTS. Seriously nobody cares if you are left sweating and loosing sleep over a broken unit. PATHETIC SERVICE.
I would like to escalate this to the highest , if anyone has emails of the region manger, country head , VP , director and CEO please share. These guys need to know how are they ruining TATA’s reputation and Mr. Ratan Tata should also know about this to save his company.
