vat break up not mentioned

I made a purchase at the big Bazar in Gurgaon on sohna road on the 23rd of Feb 16. I bought a denim at flat 699 and I was billed 735 for the same. When I asked for the reason they said it includes taxes. But no where on the bill was the entry for tax. No break up not even mention of the tax.
It was all summed as net amount. I am just curious whether it’s a standard practice or there is some fraud going on? Coz all other retail outlets clear shows the tax amount under the separate entry for tax.
