I would like to inform you that my father purchased this pension plan from HDFC Standard Life, Rourkela Branch which was sold to him by giving false commitments by the agents of your company. He was told that he would have to pay an one time premium of Rs. 1,00,000/- which can be withdrawn after 5 years and he would be getting pension for the entire life. Because of inadequate knowledge about financial products, my father fell in to the trap and purchased the policy by paying Rs. 1,00,000/- as first premium.
Later on when this matter came to my knowledge, I investigated and came to know the truth. Now my father is really in panic that he lost his hard earned money.
As my father is a retired govt. employee, he is not able to pay such a big premium amount further. Therefore, we want to close the policy and also refund of our invested money.
We contacted to the branch for refund my of our money but they denied for the same.
Please help!!!
