This is how organizations are operated in India.I had my worst experience with Air India today.I had booked a flight with them which was a connecting flight from Delhi. 2 days before I get a message that first flight is rescheduled to a later time. Due to this I would be missing my 2nd flight. But they are not bothered for the same. If they make any changes they should take the charge to cater the User’s issue also. I called up airline 20 times and everytime they gave me such a big disappointment saying that Mam we are sorry but we can’t do anything. If they can’t do anything then who would be doing it. At times they just hanged up my phone in the middle of my request. Was I responsible for any changes at their end? If I am having an emergency of reaching the place whom should I tell? They simply tell cancel this flight and book with some airlines which is costing me 3 times more. Why would a user suffer here? I go and meet a Duty manager at the airport and even he tells me Air India is worst airline, don’t ever book your flight with the same. If Duty Manager of the airline gives me such a response then what can I expect from the rest of the staff? Without considering my issue he is gossiping and asking me about my background and other personal details, instead of this he could have invested his brain in some good work. His lady colleague is trying to give some alternate options but he is even stopping her to provide any solution. He gives me only options like to take a night flight and wait on the airport for 12 hours or just cancel my ticket with them and look for some other airline or come sometime before the flight departure and check if any seat is vacant in any other flight. I come out with no solution from their end. If this is how offices and organizations would be operating in India then how could we think of making India a better and growing country?
