I am using a Vodafone Postpaid plan which has an unlimited data bandwidth (E_Connect_499). Suddenly I found last two months I have been charged for some download. When I inquired customer care they replied you downloaded “shotformat_dwnlp”. I tried to convey that my plan says I have the unlimited data bandwidth, for which I pay more rent already. But the guy in CC was repeating statements like you have charged because you have downloaded some short format, content, It was quite a high charge of 99+99 this time (Totally 333 Rs this month). I don’t understand how I can be charged when already I already paying for unlimited data. This is a complete fraud from Vodafone to cut the pocket of the customer from backdoor. How I can identify the shotformat_dwnlp? We just browse the website, use emails with attachment.
I completely shocked for such charges and also more shocked to hear a reply from customer care executive where he could not justify the charges but was insisting you downloaded, you pay!

My name is Heena Mittal and my prepaid vodafone mobile number is 9646613564. I am also having a complain agsinst vodafone company. I recharged an internet pack worth 155 for 1 GB data and checked pack on vodafone website and it was saying that i will get 1GB data after 155 Rs. recharge. But after recharge , i got only 525 MB data. when i talked to customer care, they are saying that pack is changed and there is no update on website . They are saying that they will update it in some days. There was no message also for this pack change. They are cheating the customers by saying 155 Rs recharge for 1 GB data and after the recharge they are telling that pack is changed. please help me in this case.
