Hello Sir/Madam,
I am writing this because got mentally tortured by the travelyari ( a web portal to book online bus tickets). please see below description of tortured treatment. step by step.
1. I booked tickets around 20 days before my journey on 8 Aug for Rs. 900. Web portal Abhibus.com
2. after 3-4 days of booking they cancelled my tickets as bus fair was increase.
3. They raise refund request as which is still in transit. 7-8 days already happens.
4. I again booked tickets around 15 days ago of date 8 Aug 2014 in Rs. 550. web portal travelyari.com
5. On 3 Aug they mail me that bus has been cancelled.
6. I call them to know the reason, they doesn’t explain anything just say we will refund whatever you have paid and this will take 7-8 Days.
7. I ask them to give another ticket in other bus Now they offer ticket in same bus but for Rs. 1000. I ask them this is wrong as i booked my tickets earlier but they if you want to travel you have to pay extra else wait to get your refund for 7-8 days.
Same case also happens with me with Abhibus.com online booking website.
My Complaint concerns are as below:
1. Why such online bus booking webportal should not show bus number and if bus has been cancelled give some valid reason like bus has been not functioning, customer can check by bus no that is that functioning or not.
2. We are charged for cancel our tickets, why not bus operators are chanrged if they cancel bus.
3. Currently my Rs. 1500 are in refund which will be refund in 7-8 days, till then i can not go home as don’t have more money. failing to go home on festival Rakshabandhan.
This may be very small complaint, people doesn’t feel to complain for small issues so these cases are always behind, Sir/Madam, please look into the issue i and many more people tortured with same thing will get justice.
