TDR filed on IRCTC but no refund

i booked a ticket in brahmputra mail 3rd AC from mirzapur to delhi but the train was 12 hours late then i decided to travel in magadh express with general ticket i also having challan receipt given by TT then at 3 O clock i file a TDR in the train but my tdr was not approved please help me.
