REPORTING OF LOAN REPAYMENT TOWARDS CIBIL

This has reference to vehicle loan taken through Mahinndra Finance as on 30/11/2011 for my vehicle:Maruti swift VXi.The loan account number is 1834375 for a tenure of 24 months.
Due to personal issues 4 installments were pending and the repayment had been done together with check return charges of Rs.3000/-in addition to the installment amount.
The repayments were all done and the contract with Mahindra Finance has been closed as on 29/06/2013 and the records for the same has been obtained.
At present, the CIBIL Statement shows Rs.1,56,325 as overdue amount. This is because Mahindra Finance has last reported to CIBIL on 21/06/2013.
But we have made all repayments and contract with them has been closed on 29/06/2013 and this has not been reported to the CIBIL by Mahindra Finance.
When contacted Mahindra Finance, Thrissur(Customer Service) , they say they are not responsible for the same and according to them reporting the repayment details of their consumer towards CIBIL is not their job.
Also, I would like to know if the job of finance company is only to report the overdue amount to the consumer and whether they are not suppose to report the loan(contract) closure to the consumer.
I hope you would help me with the issue as I am facing serious grievances towards loan issues and hampering me financially.
Kindly take some serious action towards the company and enable me to proceed with my problems as soon as possible.
