Claim office- Honda, Ansal Plaza Mall, Vaishali, Ghaziabad.
My Honda Amaze car is hardly 6 months old and was hit by a truck on June 15. When I went to claim the insurance, the company representative bluntly denied the claim.
My car is registered at Haldwani ( Nainital, Uttaranchal) and despite paying the registration fee, I am yet to receive my copy of RC which is due to the fact that the vendor for high security no. plate had some issue with RTO and the matter is in court.
I have produced the receipt for registration and the original copy of no plate authorization letter that I received from the RTO office.
Despite that I was bluntly refused for the claim. I was told by the claim officer Mr Sumit Kumar to bring the original copy of RC which is yet not issue to me by RTO. Despite several request, he didn’t agreed and finally asked me to pay 25% of the claim amount.
When I requested him to enquire regarding the matter [RC not issues in Haldwani] he bluntly told me that he has many other work as well and he cannot run behind every claim.
I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER ITS MY DUTY OR HIS TO DO THE FACT FINDING.
I feel cheated and hurt by ICICI which I still believe is one of the most transparent company. With myself being a ICICI customer for more than 7 years, this is bitter pill to swallow.
By this incident, I strongly feel that the company is being run by individuals who do whatever they deem right and ICICI no long stands on the pillar of integrity, customer services, ethics it claims to be.
Please look into the matter as it being a week that I am running from pillar to post to resolve the matter. The claim officer never bothered to even call once to update me. I have to call him again and again. I never experienced this type of customer service in my last 7 years of association with ICICI.
