Rs 950 recharge not working

I had recharged my phone with Rs 950 for a 3g recharge. Unfortunately, by mistake I ran an USSD COde on my phone that recharged my phone with a 2G plan of Rs 17.
Because of this my Rs 950 recharge has become invalid.
2G recharge was for 3 days, and previous recharge was for 30 days.

When i called customer care first they said the money will be refunded in 2 days,
After 2 days when there was no refund, I called back and now they keep me on hold for long, saying that my call is being transferred to a senior, and the call disconnect after hold for long.

I request to please either refund my money i.e. Rs 950, or activate an equivalent 3G plan on my phone.

As Rs 950 is not a small amount and losing it for a Rs 17 recharge is not fair to any customer.
Also, the response on VODAFONE customer care is very careless.

Please look into this issue ASAP.
