So, i have looked upon all my past bill and found that the folowing charges have also been made:

And In November ’13 for Downloads “shotformat_dwnlp_9” Rs. 99 & “handygo_javagame_1” Rs. 10I have been charged 4 times (49+99+10+15=173) for download till now and no such downloads have been made.
Please reverse these charges as soon as possible. -

Then how your are charging to the customesrs for bownloading if you don’t know what the customer is browsing. Last month I spoke to customer care and wrote to them on the same issue.
Again in May 14′ Bill, I am seeing this issue ..this time it’s mentioned that I have downloaded “wapvilla_ppd” and “handygo_javagame_1” for which I am charged Rs 59/- — What is this ??Also , check the Rentals which is charged to me for Voice plan– I have been charged twice the same Rental amount 99 . Once for entire month and again for pro-rata basis.

Similar charges have been levied in my earlier months Bill also. When I asked what are these charges, Customer Care just says that these downloads are from premium sites without any further satisfactory details.
Can Vodafone comment on this Issue and come clear on such unethical/fraud practice of cheating customers?? -

I am an corporate customer of Vodafone and I have a dispute on my last generated bill date from 03.06.14 to 02.07014, there is a charge of Rs 198.00 (99+99) under shotformat_dwnlp_9 on the date 01/06/14 and 11/06/14 which is not genuine according to me.
According to the generated bill its show that I did some downloading but on the other hand its shows 0.00 usages in KB which is not good.

I am communicating with Vodafone over ‘[email protected]’ this mail id. Viddafone says that facebook , Twitter , gmail will charges you for downloads even if you are using unlimited internet packs. you guys are making a fool of your customers, what do you think that we have plenty of time for you guys to do mail and call each and every day to hear same kind of a reply that I have been charged for some item under shotformat_dwnlp_9 why you people don’t understand that I want to know that if I had downloaded something which had charged to me Rs 99 twice and it is in 0.00 KB according to the bill which I got from your billing department then provide me the details that what was that stuff.

I think that we should have to stop using Vodafone services. I am also suffering due to Vodafone overcharging for some unknown download charges. Vodofone corpcare continue to say that those are valid charges and customer is not even aware about those download packs. I think this is alternative way to gain the money and maintain their margins.
I have been loyal to Vodafone from last 6-7 years and never complained about the billing and other charges. It is first time I raised the valid and genuine concern for some unreasonable download charges and they are not at listening to the voice of customer. You can clearly see below stated download activity has been reported on the night of 15/06 and no one was using the phone that time. Infact, I don’t even know what are those charges for.

Guys , Vodafone surely makes fraud in billing. I keep on chacking my unbill amount and till 5th of august my unbilled amount is only Rs. 356.60. And if I consider tax of Rs.60 then also my bill should reach Rs. 426.60 but I received bill of Rs.559. This is too much. I am sure that Vodafone add download charges before generation of bill and makes fraud in that.
Don’t use Vodafone at least postpaid service at all. I have suffered very badly from Vodafone. -

Hi , I am a Vodafone customer from Pune region. I have also been charged 99 Rs for shotformat_dwnlp_9 in my bill for month of July. Even though i have not downloaded any new app or software or did any online shopping for any item via my mobile.
I wrote multiple times to corpcare.mah but they have only 1 pre-composed reply. we cannot provide any information or we cannot pass any credit. I tried explaining them multiple times via mail but to no avail.
This is ridiculous as i paying customer for last 2 years i have always paid my bills on time and in the end what a paying customer gets from Vodafone support- unprofessional attitude, poor responses and unethical business practices (charging so many people for same thing) and to top it Vodafone support don’t even provide any details what are these charges and why they have been levied? As paying customer i have the right to know what i am being charged for.
Please look into the issue and resolve it otherwise i would have no option to but to port out my all postpaid Vodafone connections to some other vendor and advice my known people to do the same. -

I am really surprised with the fraud being made by Vodafone India, i am customer of Vodafone since ten yrs and for the last two months they have charged me in july bill with 49 Rs and aug bill with 173 Rs. I am using iphone and from where the hell will i download these things, Customer care also not having any answer about this. My mobile number is 7875678173. I could see current month Sept 2014 and previous Aug 2014.
I have been charged for hello1_tvallsouth_ 30. Only Vodafone team and God can say what are these charges for.
In my previous bill also Vodafone has charged me for the same i.e August_2014,
though I submitted the payment for the same and later called Customer Care about the same, he suggested me to mail to corporate mail account for this,
but they too didn’t gave a proper response on why these charges are for.
so I am writing this complaint when I saw the same mistake for the 2nd time in consecutive bill.I wonder what’s this strategy of making money from customers.

Looking at this complain list make me feel I am not the only one being cheated by Vodafone. I was charged Rs. 49 for d2c_mgossip_pack49 three time in same month. Now if it is a monthly pack than how can I be charged three times for that.
Also, I have not download this even once. I complain about this in my last bill. I was not sure about it that time so didn’t complain, but this time I am sure I have not downloaded anything.There is one more “deals_mydala_99” cost me Rs. 99, again I have not downloaded\activated this either.
Can anyone help me, or I will have to port my number to other operator.

Vodafone Download Charges Fraud.
As I posted earlier VF first charged me this fake charges in June and they promised me that they will prevent it from happening again and in month of july Aug again they have charged me the same 0 KB download charges and regarding this issue I had almost exchanged 30/40 mails with all escalation levels right from cumstomer care to nodal officer and then to appeal officer.
Dear Fellow Victims.
Please take a note of below points they are based upon my experience.
1) VF will not be convinced to waive off your charges but keep trying you may get waiver for first time and anyone of you get the waiver please unsubscribe asap coz they are going to cahrge you again and next time they will not entartain your request at all.
2)If you send them mail then VF will try to explain you dos and donts or how to use internet from your mobile and believe that piece of advice is of no use and totally illogical.
3)If you partial bill your services may stay alive and you will start getting calls for pending amount and some so called technical officer will talk to you and try to explain that you activated MYDALA and LIVE TV from your mobile hence these charges are levied correctly but if you ask details about your request to activate same then they will send you the logs which are not all relevant with these charges.
4)If you ask them logical questions like why VF is charging for 3rd party site ? who has given them authority to manipulate and charge this in your bill ? why the size of download is 0KB ? what is VF live ? and why this kind of cahrges are being levied by VF only then trust me you are not going to get an single answer and nor the waiver.
5)If you go through the VF website you will find all these fraud services pages (MYDALA etc) as they have tied up to cheat customers and getting unsubscribed from it is like big challenge as you cant do it on your own and VF will make sure that you will remain subscribed to it.
6)Guys Please start reading your bill carefully VF has very safer approach to cheat customer they do it with very small amount initially and if this went unnoticed by you then they will take the advantage of this situation.
7)Keeping you on hold and then dropping off the call,sending you messages like ‘tried to reach out to you and you were unreacheble’ and then sending mails like “as per our discussion’ we we never had is standard practice of VF escalation handling.No doubt I have never had any issues prior to I opted for 3G and subscribing to 3G turned out to be a biggest mistake and suffered lot.Now I have moved on the Airtel used it for 2 months but did not find these kind magical fraud charges so far.
8)Guys we will have to raise our voice at broader level else these MNC cheaters will keep snatching your hard earned money.I have made up my mind to take this ahead and shall update you soon.

Have tried several time to unsubscribe but never succeed to do so,
First thing explain me Why I have been subscribed to Mydala by Vodafone without my permission,if I need to unsubscribe then I need to follow steps which are mentioned on below link and trust me it never worked it always says “Please try after some time” since this one is the expensive coupen provider so it must be always busy to unsubscribe user..Because if users are able to unsubscribe on their own you will be not able to get fraud business.https://www.vodafone.in/vas/pages/mydala.aspx

I cannot believe even with all these complaints Vodafone is still looting consumers money with these things… i have again been charged for downloads which i have not done.. they have charged Rs 99 for shotformat_dwnlp_9 and Rs 15 for animation_download. The customer care response on this is very rude and they only say it has been a valid download charges and we might have clicked on some pop ups… do u think we who spend more than 20 hours a day on PC and Internet don’t have commonsense on which link to click and which to not? He further said that to avoid incurring similar charged I should use Internet cautiously. Vodafone will not EVER block payments to these sites.

After following up with their executives it said that those are valid charges,

I am your customer for last 8 years, but recently I have realised that there has been some fraud in the form excess billing done to me since last November.
I have 2 major issues with vodafone fraudulent billing:
Firstly, my charges for 3G data pack was increased from 375 per month to 450 from March onwards. A 20% increase per month. However, this has been done without any prior consent from me. No approval or consent have been obtained and this has been done completely in an adhoc manner. In case of increase in charges aren’t you guys suppose to take specific approval from the customer. This is a fraudulent activity considering that only a handful of customers may end up realising and complaint about. From the rest, vodafone can make crores of rupees in revenue – A case of complete cheating and malpractice.
Secondly, there has been a levy of something called a download charges since November 2013 onwards. I did some research and found that I am not only one facing this problem with Vodafone. There are hundred of customers who are facing this issue. I have been levied a total charge of ~Rs 260 since November 2013. I dont have details prior to that but I am sure such charges would have been on levied on those bill as well.
Bill Date 11.12.13 – A charge of Rs. 10/-
Bill Date 11.03.2014 – A charge of Rs. 49/-
Bill Date 11.04.2014 – A charge of Rs. 49/-
Bill Date 11.08.2014 – A charge of Rs. 49/-
Bill Date 11.09.2014 – A charge of Rs. 99/-There is a clear trend in how you guys are cheating the customer. You start with small amount and gradually increase the amount and frequency. Your standard reply to this issue is that some datapack have been downloaded. What Data pack? Do you see any datapack activated on my phone. I am a frugal person in that sense and I will think 10 time before spending such frivolous charges. So please dont give me a standard reply of data pack being charged.
Also, who is vodafone to make payment of my behalf to any third party, if at all. Are you my bank or credit service provider. Do you maintain a kitty for your customer to make payment of their behalf. Who gave you the authority. Vodafone should be chrging for the services that they have been providing that badwidth and internet charges.
An 8 year old customer is wanting an immediate resolution of the above 2 issues. This is not the question of small amount but a question of malpractice and fraud and a case of cheating.
I look forward to your immediate revert and resolution. Only after will I decide the future course of action.
P.S. Please dont reply that we tried calling you but it went unanswered. Again a standard reply.

Seriously Vodafone sent fake bills me too and i was asked to customer care so they dont have particular answers. When i said I’m going to port my number coz of ur fake bills; so they rudely replied to go with any other network services.
Now I port my number with Airtell and I’m very happy with the network with Airtell and I choosed my plan as per my uses. I got 800mins + 300 msgs + 100 STD mins + 1GB 3G Data plan only in Rs 399/-
Guys think about it… You want to argue with them or what… -

Let’s assume, I downloaded these services.
1)I have not crossed my usage limit, then why dont these charges reflect on my internet usage?
2) how am I directly charged for this without taking my consent?
I am an advanced user of internet and hold an electronics engineering degree. I run a company.
So stop acting smart in educating about these services.
3) while downloading these services why is my credit card info not demanded or any other mode of payment never asked? Why is Vodafone paying on my behalf?
4) why is there not a single service provider like idea, airtel, reliance to name a few, who are not demanding this?
5) where is proof of downloads?
However explicit or against your policies, please present me with proof to shut my mouth. Don’t give me official rubbish.I will raise my voice wherever I can against this fraud.

Today in the morning around a time 10:05 AM I got a call from Vodafone care (Miss Shilpy) from the number +911171272522 regarding the waver of my amount for the number 9711069881.
And I got the call on my alternative and best number to reach that is 9911773358, and she promised that vodafone will adjust the amount which I want to waver and I will get the confirmation call for that same with in an 1 hour but its 5 PM and till now I am waiting for the call or I thing that miss shilpy did a fake commitment to me or in a same manner vodafone do fake with there customer.

In Oct ’14 Bill for Downloads charges 175.00I have been charged 2 times (175+455=630) plus service tax for download till now and no such downloads have been made.
I have asked customer care about this but they are not able to answer they only said that you have downloaded from paid site.
I have asked is any service activated on my number they said no, not any service is activated. So tell me what type of files are this? How much size of this files are? From which site this files are get downloaded? Please be logical and I really got HURT by Vodafone. This was after i requested a port of my services.They came begging after me not to switch.They refunded the amount without conditions

Like · 3 hours agoJignesh J Nagda now really i have to use words which i dont mean too, how mean is vodafone now to answer, third class service , WTF , from last two days these people are attending my problem, wow, soi much third class people, now this whole chat sg i copied and mailed to central authority and trai, this type of third class service, my bill date is of 4 n why still i dint get my outstanding amount, vodafone is cheating now to postpaid customers by sending all fake usage bills, this is too much now, WTF service or upgarde u did til now, i told u before its going over my head now.
