I am writing to bring your attention to some of the issues i’m facing after i booked Ford Ecosport Ambiente Petrol in 6th-July-2013 with Ganges Ford Kolkata.The sales executive assured me that it will take around 3 to 4 months at max to receive my delivery.Well fair enough i was complacent with the delivery time.After a month I called them just for a formal enquiry and got a shock of my life,firstly for the increase in price rate and secondly for the extended delivery time,with no details of the exact delivery date and also they are forcing me to go for higher version of the model with hesitation in telling me in a rude way to cancel my booking.
I called up Ford Chennai customer care and they assured that the delivery of the car will be by Jan’2014.When the Dealers or Ford Chennai didn’t make any intimidation in this month of Jan’2014, i myself called up Chennai executives for any information regarding the delivery of the car. It was a absolute shock for me to know that the delivery date is further extended to July’2014.
I never expected this game plans from Ford,firstly luring customers with the competitive price,then increasing the price not even protecting people who has booked earlier,then forcing customers to go for higher version,then extending delivery time to get the benefits of interest from the booking amount etc etc.
Its a complete harassment and cheating which overrules all ethics.
