On July 25th, I had requested to cancel my Airtel Internet and landline plan since I was leaving my rented apartment by end of month. They said cancellation requests takes 1 week to process. I was fine with it and told them I will pay extra for last 5 days since my billing cycle was 25th. But my internet was disconnected same day. I called them up to re-activate it for next 5 days and then disconnect it. They activated it next day and in the process I lost 1 day of internet usage causing inconvenience Next day I got a call from Airtel Retention team. I told them i am leaving this flat and shifting to some other place so getting it disconnected. They asked me not to get it disconnected and shift my connection. So I told them it will take me 1 month to find a new place and i will be shifting to my relatives for a month. They said they will change my plan post 30th to 299 for which I will not have to pay and post that when I shift to my new place i can get the connection shifted again, I was fine with it, but they ended up changing my place next day and that was not useable as Data limit was very low. So I did not use airtel internet and asked them to change my plan back and cancel it on 30th . They changed my plan after 2 days by which I had already moved out but did not process cancellation 1 month after they sent me a bill of 1926 rs even though I did not use it and they didnt cancel my request. They were ready to waver off the amount if I re-installation the connection. Since I did not have possession of my new house I could not install it and then I did not want airtel anymore because of their billing problem. I use to get 3 calls a day from airtel and i ended up explaining things again and again. It was giving me a lot of stress and I told them not to call again and I dont want their connection . I am not liable to pay because of their problem I never used internet and they only did not disconnect my connection. Now they keep calling me to pay due amount. Requesting help to sort out the issue.
